Celebrity, recording artist, song writer, rapper/singer, is considered one of the hottest up and coming artists from the South. While growing up legends like UGK, MJG, Outkast, Nas are some of the names who have inspired what Celebrity describes today as, "Lift off Musik". A sound that will elevate and take you places not only your imagination can access. Music that nourishes a balance between socially conscious and street. With the release of upcoming projects like, "Lift off No Landing", "Musik From Marz" & "Chapters after Lift Off" Celebrity is a shoe in for success and to take you places you never thought existed.

Celebrity, was born Joshua Pellum August 3, 1982 in Houston, Tx. Though from Houston, on his rise to stardom, Celebrity has been caught pulling off live pop-up shows, outside, yes right outside in downtown Dallas. He explains, "You do different you get different. Who needs a venue when the world is your stage." Celebrity, over the past few years, have opened up for big names like Zoey Dollaz, Young Greatness, Bone Thugs n' Harmony, Tory Lanez, Russ, Gucci Mane, Xxxtentacion all while teeming up with local radio stations 97.9 The beat DFW and K104, both in Dallas, Tx.

Despite this exposure or maybe because of it, Celebrity vows to always pay homage to "Black Water Ent. /Made Men Prod. a band with members from Prairie View University, where he attended college. He remembers freestyling one night in a campus dorm room with some friends and classmates and well, never looked back since. Celebrity explains that he looks at music as not only an outlet for emotion but a platform that will allow him to be a voice for the less fortunate. He wants to use proceeds from the music he creates to help his Houston community through charities and organizations that give back.
